Im tryin to put bump stops on my bilstein 5150 shock shafts and i know poly performance sells a special tool to remove the eye from the shaft but i was jus wondering if anyone knew if the eye was threaded on or pressed on thanks

I ripped the eye off of a bilstein heavy duty last week and it was...... threaded. It ripped the threads right out of the bung that was welded to the eye.:eek:
