So when I was in Katemcy my doubler felt like the front output (the 205) was catching somehow and would make this clank every revolution. Has anyone had problems like this with their 205s/doublers. Oh and I found a pretty big magnet in the bottom of the case, do people usually do this to collect metal shavings so they aren't floating around?

the magnet is factory.

everything in a gear box is even all the way around, i cant see anything making one clang every time. i would check yokes, joints, and diff crosspins first.

even if some how you managed to bust a tooth or 2 off, there are 3more making contact at the same time and would minimize any slop or banging.

no the ujoints are fine......its a square drive shaft but it wasnt doing this before I hit the trails so something happened...and I have a spool up front which I doubt would have broken.....Possibly a ring gear tooth???

i have busted up spiders before [d44] and the peices get wedged between the ring and housing cuasing a noise and small bind but not every rotation.

you would have to be pretty hardcore to bust a r/p out of either of those axles.

Is the front drive shaft a double-cardon? I popped the "ball" in the socket one time and it did the same thing, made that same kind of sound. It was hard to see that it was broken until it let loose really good. Check that too
