Any one no of an ammo source for .17HMR at a good price, less than $12 a box and in stock?

That's like the only shit I can find at wal-mart... so I had to get a 17hmr to go with it

The Winchester is like 13.xx but from what I've read holds the tightest groups, the other stuff is 11.xx I believe.

Ammunition2Go had it bulk about 3 weeks ago, not anymore, and I haven't found any bulk online sources yet :(

Be sure to let me know if you find any bulk sources :D

Everything ive ever seen is right at the 12 dollar mark, not too many choices when it comes to the stuff. When you can find them get the hornady ballistic tips, shoots real nice from my gun and beats the hell outta the hollow points for critter removal.

I have looked every place on line and they are ether out of stock or they want $15 plus. The local gun shop want $18 for Hornady and $20 Winchester. I guess I'll have to drive to wally world.

Walmart here always has at least Winchester and usually Federal in stock. I buy a box or two of the Federal about once a month, and have built up a bit of a surplus, just because. However, I can't find Hornady anywhere, and it's what I/my rifle prefer, but the other stuff goes bang, and is almost as accurate.

Yep. I do the same thing, my gun likes the Remingtons but I'm not paying $15+ for them when the Federal will pretty much get the same job done. I do know I will not buy the CCI HP, I can only assume the longer OL of it causes misfeeds out of my mags. Prolly not a problem on other rifles but I have heard of several other Marlins with this issue.

$12 a box isnt that bad....it was only slightly cheaper than that before this whole mess started. I'll 2nd the note that its the only thing my wal-mart has in stock. At this point I'm happy to pay $12 for it. Also not saying I wouldn't want it cheaper!

Drove 25 miles to the nearest Wal Mart and they are out of stock on .17 and don't know when they will get more.

Or know anyone who is and coming back down there?

I`ll snag you some if you want... I just can't ship it, way to far of a drive to UPS center. PM me if you want.

Cool, I found a place that has some for 9.99+ Shipping but it's out of stock and I didn't bookmark it.. Midwest? Natchez? One of those I think.

will WW let you do the online to store thing with ammo?

go order it on their website, then pick it up at your local store?

anyone tried it?

If your talking about Walmart, then no I don't believe you can. Walmart's website doesn't list firearms or ammo anywhere that I could find. Only, accessories, and air-rifles. I know that they used to at least have firearms listed online, because I've printed them off and used them for price matching, but doesn't seem to be the case anymore. They still had long guns in the store last time I was there, but not online:confused:
