Its been a while since I posted pictures of my Wifes 63 that I have been building for ever and a year.

Well it runs, drives and what not, just finishing up the little stuff so she can start wheeling it.

What type of wheeling? Rubicon style stuff mostly?
What color are you going to paint it?

Wheeling will be more Rubicon, Fordyce, type of wheeling. Needed something that was street legal and can be driven to the trail and back. Built as a daily driver with rockcrawler functionality.

Cage isnt quite done yet, I needs more triangulation and bs. just haven't gotten around to pulling every thing apart to do some welding.
Heres some specs

Chevy 350 tbi
SM420
FJ60 axles front and rear
Lunchbox lockers front and rear
Dual line locks
Disc brakes including ebrake
Saginaw PS
35s
corbell seats

I have the CJ for hammers etc..

As far as paint goes, its up to the wife, its hers. IF it was up to me it would be silver or gun metal gray.

You dont see to many with doors like that. Mine is a 62 and they were that style, I cut them out and replaced with the newer style to fit doors. Looks like a great start. What is your plan for doors if your going to run them?

I am probably going to make doors, there was a person on here doing some vaccum sealing, so the plan is to make some doors out of plywood to form the shapes and then make some fiberglass or vaccum sealed door lowers and custom make the upper doors and get an upholstery shop to cover the frames. this way they are removable still.

Probably a bit expensive but it should work.
