Mine went under water about 6 months ago. Finally got around to working on it. Was only under for a few minutes. I drained everything and refilled. Changed plugs and wires, cap etc. I get fire, and it starts and runs when I pour a little gas down the intake. It actually started and ran for about 2 minutes last night. I also replaced the CPI unit. My question would be, After cranking it , should it hold fuel pressure? I can push the little tire gauge deal, that you check the pressure with. It squirts out about an inch high. Should it spray much harder and higher? Do they rent a tool to check the pressure? I figure it must be a fuel issure.

To check the pressure the truck needs to be running.

The fuel pressure should be 9-13psi.

They sell a fuel pressure check kit at the parts store I don't know if they rent them.

Does the fuel pump turn on for 2-3 sec when you turn the key on? It should if it is working right.
