Hello ppl.
While waiting for the review of the first set of OEM style bows and soft-top by the customer in California I thought I should make a simple web-site with a few of the products available here.. The website has a few pics with price if a few Land Cruiser parts.. What do you think??
Parts Incorporated Website (http://pi.com.pk)

I like the site. Some of those models were never sold in America, but I wish they were.

I've thought about it, at least for maybe the second batch!! The problems I run into are customs issues and the fact that my account is supposed to be for "personal" use only!! Fine line, but don't want to cross it and risk losing my privileges!! We use it alot - skis, bikes, suitcases, etc and sucking it up on other shipping costs is not worth jeopardizing the privilege for a soft top!! It may just be worth it to just pay the "normal" shipping costs!!

So, does FedEX have a slower/ cheaper price? $300.00 makes it more than buying a top here from say, Best top. Factory OEM is cool and all, but at least with Best top you have a local channel for repairwork and such.

Yes there is a cheaper channel then Fed Ex.. Its slower and you will have to pick up the stuff from the airport yourself.. That would be arround $175 to $200.. We include extra vinyle pieces so you can repair any damage at home though.. :)

ehsankiani,

Is this your buisiness your trying to advertise? I'm alittle confused because I always thought you were just linking us to sites and such with parts available in Pakastan. Anotherwords, you were just showing us what kind of stuff you guys had that we did'nt.

If this is an advertisment ploy on your part to help promote your new market in exporting Landcruiser parts to he US by means of using Pirate4x4.com to do so, I must say you've broke the rules of the Pirate4x4.com BBS forums and I ask you please to not do so anymore.

Please inform me of your intentions. Thanks,

Helo there..
I apologise if I have broken any rules... I got into this project because of the ppl on the PBB.. The OEM Soft-top thing was all done with the help of some of the ppl here and I did a lot of hard work on it.. I posted the pics on the net and here not for selling it (initially at least), but for showing you all that we here are also doing a lot of stuff with 4x4s.. .. It was some ppl here and on the LCML list that had this idea..
My intentions were not to advertise any business.. Yes.. I did advertise the skill that people have in my country.. The beauty that is here in the mountains.. I did advertise Pakistan like the way it is..
I am sorry again if I broke any rules.. Please delete this thread if you think appropriate... I have found here at the PBB, friends..PPl who appreciate what we have here.. I thought I had developed some respect for myself(hopefully) in the pbb members and I do not want to loose that.. Not at any cost.

Hey Jeff,

We kinda put him up to this, so it is the TLC Section that asked for it.

Hell, who knew anyone in Pakistan was actually going to follow-through with it?

Anyway, I would be the first to say that this dude has a pretty serious amount of cool shit so before this thread gets deleted, make sure you get this web address and if you want an OEM soft top, you will never get this kind of quality/price here in the US.

But if everyone else feels the way dog walker does

You know, it really sucks being the bad guy all the time, but the deal is that I have a job to do here, and If I don't do it, then I will be replaced and somone else will do it. And if you're really lucky you might get a really cool moderator like seabass! Remember him? He was our old "for sale" moderator, and was referred to by many as the for sale Nazi!

Bottom line is that I really don't enjoy telling people when they are out of line or have crossed the lines of advertisment rules, but I have to. If I don't then Lance (the webmaster) will, then it gets interesting.

In the meantime, read this recently written by Camo.

Manufactures rule’s of posting.

It is the intent of pirate4x4 to maintain a Bulletin board for and by the off road hobbyist. We welcome manufactures and retailers to join in our discussions and to answer questions when the regular group of users asks them. We will not allow manufactures to post threads that are in the opinion of the moderators an advertisement. A simple rule of thumb would be to ask yourself before you respond am I contributing technical info or just trying to make a sale? So how can a company advertise on pirate4x4.com? At this time the 2 ways to have your products on pirate4x4.com other than in a discussion started by one of our members is contact the moderator or Lance and arrange for a product review. This will consist of supplying us with a free product and we will have it installed and tested by one of our pirate4x4.com members. The second way to advertise at this time is to sponsor a free monthly drawing for free product to be giving away to one of our pirate4x4.com members.

Keep in mind that these rules are intended for the bulletin board.

So, Ehsan can give PBB a free OEM Soft top, or he can give one of us a free OEM Soft, and he can keep keeping us informed of the manufacture of an item and the group purchases of that item that grew out of the ideas, discussions and strong enouragement of this group (and the LCML - too much overlap to assign a lead!!)?

Hmmm, this board is such a great resource that when a great idea grows out of this group it gets tossed out of the nest!!

Jeff you are the coolest cat onthe board. I think that is why the TLC section gets along and works so well.

I was not taking sides on this one, I was just lettingyou know that it is as much my fault and some ohters on the board that this guy sent this out.

Keep up the great work and good luch Ehsan in your venture......
