I'm getting some feathering on my Front 38x12.50 bias TSLs. Not side to side, but front to rear. My total toe is currently set -1/8. I'm thinking total toe should be about -1/4". This is measured taking a measurement from the rear of the front tires, as compared to the front tires. This is the first set of new tires I'm put on this axle.

What would be a decent toe setting? Original axle is a D60 from a '83 something Chevy.

*edit* Another check revealed it was toed out 1/4" :homer: I now have it set at 1/4" in.

It will happen pretty much no matter what with big tires... rotate them every 3000 miles :homer:

That's with the stock tire size of course. Curious to know about the extra width playing a part in the overall alignment.

If spec is 0, tire size isn't going to change anything.

I've always ran my toe at 0. Seems to work fine, and should extend tire life some over having it toed in a bit.
