First day results in full would have been posted if I had not forgot the results sheet at the competition site headquarters.

But in the lead after the first day of some serious HARDCORE wheel'n is: (sorry I don't have modstock class)

Unlimited, Charlie Melchner

Pro Mod, Kurt LeDuc (driving the Matt Burkett, AGR Jeep)

Paragon has very serious rocks, If anone thinks they have run these trails, think again....
:D :D or ask someone that watched or ran

I know the wheeling world has a gem here at Paragon, I only wish and hope that more west coasters will come out and run at this great Park.

Thanks, Rich, for a great day's entertainment. Myself, my dad, and a few friends had a great day watching some awesome wheeling. The last run of the unlimited guys was worth the trip up, especially Charlie's run through after every other rig had pointed out. Back tomorrow for more. :p

So who spotted for Kurt LeDuc, and how many people were in the Pro Mod class?

I echo rustycruiser's comments as well, and it was great to see a comp of this caliber so close to home.
I only hope this is the start of things to come for next year at paragon .
Ross I also was there when charlie ran the last course but with so many spectators I had a hard time finding my friends, sorry that I didn't see you.

And kudos to Big Rich, it was a pleasure to meet you and for the time that you took from your busy day to talk with us
Here is a pic of charlie on the bonus gate.

Lance, Matt Burkett of AGR spotted for Kurt.

We set the course's rough, no, TUFF, NO, nearly INSANE. The competitors and the fans out here are great. I truly hope we get another chance to play here at Paragon.

If the west coasters (us) don't come out to play with our eastern bothers (as they have been doing) we are missing out on the building of THE peoples sport. Anyone every hear of NASCAR.

:D :D :D

Sorry that I missed both Richs. We were so busy walking from course to course that I hardly had time to look for friends and PBB folk. Rich, I will have to hook up with you at PAP once you get the Cruiser-buggy finished. I am actually heading up to NH for the Catamount/Fall Gathering Cruiser event next week. I think that is the last time I saw you, when your Cruiser was still on the 35" Boggers.

Lance: Kurt did a great job with the AGR Jeep. The way they approached the courses was very professional and business like. In stark contrast to most of the other (probably first time) competitors. Kurt was one of the only guys I saw who walked all the obstacles prior to his run, and planned a strategy w/his spotter. And it showed, when they walked allot of the stuff that screwed other guys and caused them to point or time out.

They were able to walk the course's due to the fact they the first team in their group, due to another teams breakdown.
