If you read the ad you'll see that it is a just a Cruiser body modified to fit a Chevy S-10. In all fairness to JT, it just says that he purchased parts from there. Still butt ugly though.

I rescued a 76 Fj40 from Vegas ...the guy posted to the CCOT list
that he was going to lower it and chop and channel it!:eek:
Thankfully the CCOT bb gave him a full blast and it pissed him off enough to offer it "for sale" . That night he e-mailed me pics and the next morning I showed up in Vegas and made the buy of a liftime on a near perfect 98% rust free survivor.

I've actually seen that "thing" in person. It was at JT's little swap meet in NC a few months ago. The "project" originated from the builder talking to JT about how cool a lowered Cruiser would be. JT dared him to build one, and said he would supply the body. It was some poor 40 rotting away in a field that a guy used to do sand drags with. The hood is definitely way cool(it was already like that on the rotting cruiser)...but...as for the rest of it...it's definitely been thrown together. It really has been just dropped on top of an S-10. I was horrified when he asked me if I wanted to buy it. Since it was just a gag, he was trying to put as little time and money in it as possible, and if anyone actually wanted to buy it, for some crack-induced reason, I would be very weary of the quality.

All the negative opinions are fine, I didn't make it for everyone to enjoy. The body was already cut up beyond concourse-restorationability, so my father and I decided to make it a real project.

I know Landcruiser Purists aren't very appreciative of it, but we put alot of work into it, and it isn't shotty.
