My friend has a 97 2x4 ford ranger ex cab 4.0. He is looking to convert it to solid axle 4x4. Looking also to swap out the rear at the same time. Only problem we are having is the speed sensor is a tone ring in the rear diff. Is there a t case we can use with the correct pulse vss in it to replace this tone ring? I was thinking a 9in rear and a 44 front? This is all just in the planning stages so any one with experience doing this or with suggestions please point us in the right direction. Thanks.
