i plan on using a scout d44 front under my cj, i'm goin to turn the knuckles for about 7 degree of castor, now i want to run hi-steer, and i have a set of chevy steering knuckles and they have been milled and drilled for the hi-steer arms, i don't have the spindles and all that, can i use chevy 1/2 spindles and scout hubs, rotors, re-drill the scout caliper mount? will this work?

hey jerky, youll at least have to change the stub shaft if that will work.

do what Jimmy did to his scout and get some travel all flat top knuckles, or do what I did and do the wagoneer ford chevy mix.

Just use a GM 44 or Waggy and cut it down to the desired width. Screw the IH external bolt on hubs and D30 stub shafts.

It can be done but why hassle with it?

cause i already have the scout axles, i know they aren't the best, but i'm in college and i don't have a whole lot of money to buy another axle, after graduation and gettin a good payin job, then fawk the 44, it'll be 60 60 60

Have the cheby knuckles drilled for the scout 8 bolt patern. Then you can use all the scout outers.
