Here's the basic poop all boiled down.

Driveshafts.... the Tracker is a longer wheelbase so it stands to reason that the sizes are going to be all off from Samurai. Not interchangeable.

Tcase.... 100% different. Samurai is a stand-alone, Tracker is integrated. Gearing is different, ratios are different, nothing is interchangeable.

Rear diff.... Not interchangeable with anything in the Samurai. However, alot of folks will build a hybrid axle using the larger Tracker center section and the Samurai tubes and axles.

You didn't mention the front diff which is really the only drivetrain component that is interchangeable. The Tracker front diff can be installed into the Samurai. However, the Tracker 3rd member is aluminum..... fragile.... an accident waiting to happen. you're much better off pulling the front gears out an installing them into a Samurai 3rd member if you want to use them.

All in all, they're very different vehicles made by the same manufacturer.

well that would meen jsut about everthing :flipoff2:

you could use it though if you wanted to use the motor tranny t-case use the rear end out of it (i think its like around 58"wide) put hte front third member in the front and there you go but it would be a hole lot of work
