View Full Version : Wheeling in the UP?

Anyone doing any wheeling in the UP the end of this month?I will be visiting family in Ishpeming.Brother inlaw runs a built Chevy shortbed.Looking to maybe meet up.Will be up there from around june 29th to around july 8th depending on when we decided to leave.

Northern michigan university has a club in maquette which is right by ishpeming, we do alot of wheeling in the area. im from negaunee. whats your bother in laws name?

My BIL is Lee Prisk.They live out in Dierite(SP?).I was born and raised in Ishpeming.Went to Westwood High.What's you name?Mine is Brady Williams.Most of family is still in the area.

my name is kaleb collins, i think i may have heard of you BIL up in diorite but im not positive, weve got a pretty good size wheeling crew out of marquette where im living now.

He has a built shortbox chevy he runs in the muddrags.Does pretty well usually.

Hey small world - I am from that area too, well a little more out in the bonnies. Went to Westwood - years back. Still have property up there that I am hoping to start making some trails on for other enthusiast to use. Working on buying some more land to make it a little larger though.

ive seen that orange chev in the mud rags before and drive by it all the time, iv eseen it for sale also. it seems to have a healthy motor

Yeah it has a built 383.Built enough he has to run race gas.It is quick.Last year we went for a ride down the Grade.When on the gas hard in 2wd it is a tailwaggger untill you let up.
