Could be a number of things.

First thing I would try as it's the easiest and cheapest is fresh fuel... remove all fuel from tank and lines and try fresh straight from the gas station.

Have you done a plug check? If the reeds are chipped or worn, your plug should be fouled. To check the reeds, pull the reed-block out of the intake. If there are no obvious chips or cracks, hold it up to the light and make sure that the reeds are completely closed. In other words, you shouldn't see any gaps (light) between the reed pedals and the base. A cheap fix is to flip the reed pedals over. If your plug shows a lean condition, check the intake manifold for cracks or leaks. If the bike wasn't used for a while (and there was fuel in the carb), you probably have a sticking needle-seat valve. That's the little tapered brass piece that the floats are attached to. Clean out the bore that the valve rides in with a drill bit that's the same size as the bore. Do this carefully by hand. It doesn't take much to cause the valve to stick. I'm assuming that you have good compression, clean air filter, no rags in the intake, etc. Another possibility (less likely) is a clogged exhaust port/power valve and/or muffler. Two-strokes are pretty simple and a plug reading should tell you a lot.

I dont know but if you do a rebuild I have a piston/ring/rod and gasket set for real cheap if you need it.

I bought the stuff and the bike got stolen before I rebuilt it.
