I don't want to mess with the whole AC compressor thing for onboard air and I have a ton of room on my passenger side fender so I was thinking about an electric compressor. I just don't want to end up with a compressor that takes 5 hours to air up a 33. I was looking on www.extremeoutback.com at theirs. Has anyone got any experience with those??? If not, what do you recommend?
They have a 3/4 horse monster thats on top of my wishlist right now. With a tank it says it has enough cajones to run air tools too...which would be great.
Thanks.

There is always that electric york that petersons just reviewed. I am sure they want 3x what they should for it though. Just pay attention to the duty cycles.

It fills a 35" x 12.50's ,in 7.5 min-from 15 p.s.i.-30 psi.
yes THATS RIGHT 1/2 hour to air up. and that is with a 4 Gallon tank too.
....I MIGHT JUST CUT THAT A/C LINE SOON.for awsome o.b.air!
all your friends will be half way home by the time you get a $250.00 air compressior to air you up.!all 4 tires :D

Take the time to put a york on the motor you'll not be disapointed. Esspecially if you run big tires and want to run air tools, this is the only way to blow.

If you can drop the big bucks the portable gas compressors are great. If I didnt have a york I would buy one. They range $300-700 and move about 7-15 CFM@90psi. I have not EVER seen a 12volt compressor which moves enough air to keep me happy.
