I tried out my friends expensive crawler the other day and after 30 seconds I was hooked. So much fun.
I wanted to play around in the house for as cheap as possible. I found the wal-mart, nylint crawler. Was going to go with the 1/18th scale the smaller one, but cant find them on wal-marts website anymore. Do they not carry them anymore? I am bidding on one on ebay right now and it is getting ridiculous.
If I don't get the one on ebay anyone want to sell me one? Or does wal-mart atleast still carry them?

Walmart no longer carrys them. ebays your best bet, thats where i got mine. go for the 1/6th scale

Sorry but nylints are junk! If you want one that will last longer than 25 mins, and dont take 18 hours to charge get a Duratrax Cliff Climber, or a Losi mini rock crawler. I have a nylint and my buddies have nylints and they are junk!
I have the losi and they are unreal! You will be amazed where they will go, they will go alot more places than the nylint and they are alot more realistic! They only take 5-6 hours to charge and last bout 2 hours on a charge.

after you played with an expensive one... the nylint one is going to suck. You're better off buying one off of craigslist. there are so many on CL that people put tons of money into and now they're getting rid of for cheap. Most go up for sale as the guy either got bored or he finally realized he just dropped $500 on a rc truck when his real rig is sitting there on jackstands.

you can get a used ax10 for fairly cheap.

I live my mini crawler but I enjoyed my nylint when my ax10 was under construction. It lasted about two months before I junked it
