I will soon be going to 38 x 14.50 or or 39's my question is that i need to buy a 15" rim for the tire to run for little while then i am going to buy some rockstompers to put on them i was wondering what rim i should use. 15 x 10's or 8's?

I have 39.5" TSL's on 8" wheels now with the Rockstomper beadlocks sitting on the garage floor. I like how skinny it looks and plan on getting 15x7" wheel to weld the rockstompers too to keep it as skinny as possible. All depends on what your situation is. I have full width axles and want to be as narrow as possible. If you have narrower axles and want to be wider go with a 10" wheel.

All depends on your lug pattern. I am 8 lug so I had to be in the 3.5" BS or less range. I have 3.5" BS. If you are 5 or 6 lug most of the BS is in the 3.5 -4" range.

Yeah, remember that a rockstomper weld-on lock adds an inch or so of width. DO a 15x8 would come out to around a 15x9... should be a nice compromise between the 10s and 8s most run.

You sure a 15" wheel will clear your brakes if you're 8-lug?

I run 15x8 wheels with 38.5x14.5 SX. I wanted the overall narrower track width and it works fine for me. 3.75 BS, 15-inch wheel, 8-lug 1-tons, ground caliper brackets.
