OK...just driving on flat road 30mph...and...

Dash lights came on:

BRAKE
BATT
CHECK ENGINE

all at once.

The stock 1.3 is running absolutly fine, temp is good.
Brake sysem = new
Header, o2 sensor = new

So I'm thinking ECM issue...
changed it out with a few I have...same thing.

The lights have been on steady from start to shutdown...for the last 100 miles..

I'm gonning to disconnect them soon!!!

but, has it happened to you??

Sounds like an alternator to me!! IF the system stops charging it sends out an all points bulliten, so you take notice quick. My older toy 88' brake idiot light was in the same circuit as the charging system. (or check belt tension/battery)

Mine do it intermittently, and only stay on for a short flash. I only notice it at night. I can be driving down the highway and I'll see them flash REALLY quickly once in a while.

I don't drive it on the street much, so I have been trying to ignore it. :D

something like that happened to me a couple of winters ago and it turned out to be a ground under the dash that got loose......I had to find this in -27 celcius temps, very cold on the fingers

I'm not sure this will help but thats the cause I found and the lights never came on again unless they were needed......

yep....The 350 mile young Alternator is bad...

It's only putt'n out 10 - 11 volts!

And wouldn't you kinow it that just today...I noticed the battery draining. (slow starter)

It was a matter of time.

I will repost when its up and running again...and let you know if the dash lights go out!
