: Spartan Lunchbox Locker - CHEAP!!

I got it in the mail the very next day. I just installed it yesterday and took it for a trail run today. I'm very impressed to say the least. No popping or banging, super smooth. Installation was a piece of cake.
This is an alternative to the Lockright and Aussie!
Install is quick and easy!
1 year Warranty - no tire size restriction!
These don't use OEM thrust washers.
Made of 9310.
The pins are larger than other units.
There are only 4 springs and they fit inside the pins.
You assemble the entire driver assembly and then slip it in place and pull the release pins (See the side holes?) to release the springs.
Currently available for:
Dana 30, 27 spline
Dana 35, 27 spline - 1.6" Bore, 93 and Down
Dana 35, 27 spline - 1.5" Bore, 93 and up
Dana 44, 30 spline
Dana 44HD, 30 spline
Dana 60, 30 spline
Dana 60, 35 spline
Ford 8.8, 31 Spline, 7/8" cross pin
GM 12 bolt, passenger and truck, 30 spline

No idea yet - not in the price list at all yet. My guess is it will end up being around $300. Just basing that off the cost difference between them and Lockright's.... Not being in the price list yet, doesn't mean it's far out either. There have been items all of a sudden become ready to sell before even being in the price list and there have been items in the prce list for years before being released. So not a good indicator. My guess ETA at this point is at least a few more weeks out... I'll definately post up when I do have them though!!

Why would you choose an Aussie over a Lock Right? Now there are three companies making them. From the nake eye, there is no difference between the Aussie and Lock Right. In fact, they look identical to the point the parts can interchange. The Spartan is completely different. Larger pins, less springs, install is easier, etc.
It's not a Yukon product, so no, not Yukon. Waranty is handled through Randy's Ring and Pinion - so they've got your back if you have issues.

the only deviation from the directions was i greased the drive gears so they would slide in easer... the whole thing took me like 3 mins... i cant wait to try it out!

Basically removal is the opposite of install. You can fit something between the driver and the pin to push the pin back up inside, then push the install pin back in the hole to hold it.
