Went to the Superlift ORV Park in Hot Springs, Arkansas on Saturday. They had a little competition going on. Based on time pretty much. Took a bunch of pics... here are just a few.

Did you get any pics of the blue TJ? That was me(Joey).By the way, I placed 3rd.I was also riding w/Ian in the sammy when it rolled:eek: That was a violent roll to say the least. We were both very dazed afterwards. And stiff as a board 2-day. Do you have any pics of the sammy after the roll?? did you see his rear axle?? very cool. It was a good time this weekend at hot spring orv park, It is definatly a cool place to ride.

How is Ian doing? I rode with him in Hot Springs back in December on his birthday, I was in the Red CJ, I assume your the Blue TJ that came with him?

I plan on making the Superlift 4x4 Adventure in October, hope to see yall there...

BTW if you talk to Ian tell him I tried to email him several time but his addy was not working..

John's a good friend who helps me a lot. He's just giving me chit for not being there. Could be a reference to my wife who sometimes makes the decisions (I pick my battles carefuly). Or maybe he's picking on my little Jeep as he likes to call it.

I was planning to go and backed out last minute. I had explained to him that my new 7.17's had not yet been wheeled hard with the right foot that his event would've required. I leave Wed for Cedar City Pro Rock and did not want to spend 2 days shipping and installing gears between events.

Are you coming to our Rocktoberfest Event in Cass at the end of the month? Should be fun, Comps will be split into 35" and under or 35" and over. Those with 35" get to choose.

See ya,
Ken

There was a ythread about how many miles it was from memphis to the off road park in Joplin. somebody said 8 hrs- maybe if you've got a wimpy tow rig - 6 is more like it.

Joey,

Did Ian compete in both classes like he was planning to? You got 3rd? I guess that D30 really is holding together then, isn't it. :D

Have you flopped/rolled your TJ yet? What with Bronson and I both fallin' over (his was a little harder) recently, I think you're gonna be the only Memphis guy left that hasn't rolled before too long. ;)

I didn't get any pics of any TJs in the big tire class... I got all CJs and then the Sami... After that we followed over to the small tire class. I got a couple good pics, but only of the front side... nothing of the axle, tho i did hear he bent it pretty good... also heard it was still spinning. I almost had vid of it, but the guy using my camera looked away cuz he was kinda standing in the course and was trying to get the hell outta the way.

As for John Loyd, he's a crazy mofo anyways. I rode with him one day on trails we were building for Camp Jeep, and he decided to mess with me... while we didn't roll or anything, I did get a nice view of the ground about 2 feet from my head (with no warning) in a little valley...
