I went to the amc 231, just cause' I had one laying around. The shifter is f'ed up because I have the actual 231 shifter but none of the linkages. NONE AT ALL. So I have to crawl under and engage it by hand, which can be a bitch.

Any one have a link or some info on something called a cam shifter. It's supposedly a piece of metal that you bolt to your t-case or trans, and connects to you shifter for the 4x4.
HELP!!!!!! anything I can make myself would be helpful.
