Whats the deal with the p38 pinion seal? comes as a flange kit from LR for $90... Is the seal the same as a D2? Been going through the new RR today getting a shopping list together.

Just did heads due to overheating/overpressurizing and a new susp compressor that is way faster
So far it needs:
Radiator, its all corroded in it...
rear air springs, (fronts are arnott gen3's)
pinion seals,
rear hub/seal not sure which yet
sai fixed
front cover and pan gasket
bunch of piddly things

Got it for the mrs. and got a really good deal

2000 4.6 Vitesse with the "great divide" reunion package/LR Expereince Equinox stuff on it... winch, sd rack, all the skids from lr southdown ect...

It should be part number FTC 4851 (may have been superceded multiple times since this one was bought). I have one right here and it is certainly available individually.

Call Bill at GBR as well. I think he stocks them. And he'll definitely be cheaper than what you're paying.
