OK I have another newbie question since I'm not a Ford guy. What years/trucks will I find divorced 205's in? Thanks!

You'll find them in 1973-1977 1/2 F-250 M/t or A/t.

After 1977 1/2 they went married.

be carefull, in 1973 there were still a few Dana-24 installed at the same time as the NP-205, Never seen one myself, but I have heard they were installed. Otherwise, have at it.

Dana 24. Almost the same low range as the NP-205. Ford used these in both the F-100 and F-250 from 1959-1965. From 1966-72 it was only in the F-250. 1966-197? The F-100 had the crapy Dana-21 single speed.

Dana-24 is a good stout tranny, If it is in good working condition don't bother trying to change it for a NP-205.
