: Got BOOTIE FAB
Well me and Nick(sickfj40) Rob(BJonroids) and Sam(strangerover) went down south over the weekend to our Tuff Truck Challenge and me and Nick spent most of the weekend looking for Bootie Fab so i was just wondering what you guys find while out and about that realy scares you to know you drive on the same roads/trails as them.
Here is the first see here we dont need no longer shaft as we can just join it in the middle
This thing is running 44s but we only need 2 bolts holding the steering box on
And why use an extended rear shackel from a pickup when you have a cruiser one
Ohh and thats right we dont need no stinkin front shaft when we got 44s :D
yield2me 09-09-2002, 04:17 AM Holy FAWK!!
Bootie Fab rocks!!!! do you have their website?
Rob

billj 09-11-2002, 05:45 AM The absence of shocks and the 27 twists in the brake line are cool too...:p
4Bangler 09-11-2002, 06:22 AM I wish I would have got pics of all the HUGE no-no's, like the 3 jointed steering shaft with no support block, but I think the total package speaks for itself.

Oh yeah, and it's for sale at a dealership! I thought of taking it for a test drive and then sueing for $1.2 mil for mental anguish.

That first one is even worse than the XJ higher up in the thread!
The second one isn't bad though, it looks safe, just extremely :rainbow:

BootsntheJeep 09-12-2002, 08:19 AM I remember somebody posting a great reply to the chain drive steering box:
"Another example of a solution looking for a problem."
With I had some picts of a 67 jeep truck i looked at...it had some nice examples
I really liked the 6x6 wood blocks they used for the body lift and as suspension lift blocks front and rear:eek:
and it wasn't even the good green stuff, it had already started to rot
Dick Hertzer 09-16-2002, 10:15 AM There are so many things wrong with this that I wouldn't even know where to start (with a torch)
