:flipoff2: Had to get that outta the way because i know I am going to get some shit from people. I was wondering if anyone could tell me about a 61' Willys wagon 4X4? Info like what motor would have been offered stock, what trannies did they have along with axles? Basically any specs known would be of great help. I found one for sale but the owner doesnt really know a lot about it. Other than its a 4X4 minus motor, Has a manual trans but not sure of the model. Also has both stock axles whatever they may be. Even an offer of a link to get parts for this would be awesome. As it stands I am going to try and get a stout motor and go from there. If that dont work my 95' YJ is going to get raped!! It has full width axles rolling 42"IROKs. Both them and the dana300 twin-stick should be nice. Just not sure if I want the 4.0 and automatic if its stock motor was better. C'mon wheelers and wrenchers help a fellow wheeler out. Thanks in advance!!

Check the hardcore section for several Wagon builds.
There is a rather astounding 62 wagon build right now.

Thanks to all who replied!!! I am now atleast heading in the right direction. Only thing stumping me is the steering. If I use parts from my YJ, not sure how to make it work.

Most came with 4 or 6 cylinder flatheads.
If you are going to strip the YJ I think that I would stretch the YJ frame .
Here is a pic of my 53 wagon on 37"s. http://i317.photobucket.com/albums/mm382/Dratwagon/Picture383a.jpg?t=1244525627
