What's the cheapest way to get a 4 inch lift? I'm from the full size chevy world with shackle flips and such, was wondering if there was any cheap tricks like that or certain springs in junkyards that were taller, etc.

thanks for the link, was looking for a non high tech thread. when i search for some reason i always get xjs for sale with lifts which doesn't help much. I'm also not a good search monkey by anymeans.

To each their own. This is my buddies XJ. I'm going CJ but with a caddy motor and axles and drive train out of a chevy. I think they all suck until Frankensteined together :)

I just know some lifts are better than other, stronger and such, and im not sure what the unibody can take from shackles and such, was curious what a proven lift was. Just because its expensive and says procomp doesn't mean its good.
