I'm finally in a position to purchase a red dot for my WASR 10-63. (Rommie I guess is the slang term, not positive).

Anywho, been eying this thing lately. The main thing I like is it mounts to the side rail I already have. I dont like the dust cover mounts because well, they dont stay in one place ever.

Thoughts on this one? Thoughts on the company? Have a better suggestion? (I am willing to spend a little more if necessary).

Then buy whatever red-dot you want with the other $220.

Not knocking this product but can't this setup be found cheaper? I mean the red dot for a WASR. Just throwing it out there. A WASR is like 500 to whatever. But half that into a "dot" system seems steep.

I have a WASR AK with a red-dot. I got a nice side-rail mount from CDNN http://www.cdnninvestments.com/aksiramoqude.html and have a Tasco Pro Point Plus on it. It works great and I have less than $100 into it.
