My wife saw a Vespa and now she wants one for her 3 mile commute to work.
Do any of you happen to have one that you want to sell?
Do you know any one that has one?
Looking for something 150cc and up.
I'm located in the Bay area of California.

Lots of skins up in your area, shouldn't be too hard to find. We just got back from Italy and now we want one too.

My friend at work rides a few of them. He buys junked ones and parts from ebay, then builds them. I'll link this post to him via ICQ and see if he has any or knows of any for sale. He also has lots of good parts resources.

There is a Vespa/Piaggio shop in Novato CA that does some really nice work, you might try and contact them and see if they have anything in your price range. Their website is www.bulletproofscooters.com

some guy up here has a vespa shifter skoot. wears a full face w/ numbers and the whole bike is flat black w/ #'s to match....flames too :D it's loud..he rolled up next to me at a stop sign today. he popped a little wheelie off the line as I rode next to him...then I rolled on the throttle in 2nd gear, rode a wheelie through 3rd and couldn't see him anymore ;) his little vespa was fast tho!

Reminds me of school. I worked at the Polaris/Kawi dealership, and the head mechanic, who used to be a factory Yami mechanic ,decided to quit and work in Polaris R&D. So he took my Honda Spree for his last week there and shaved the head, clutched it, pulled the rev limiter, and I chopped the pipe and put on a silencer from a YZ 125 that was in the junk yard out back. Best speed was 44mph on flat ground:D Plus it's covered in stickers, I owned all other scooters and mopeds on campus:D
