I just put my 325/85R16 Michelin XML's on my '99 stupid duty and need to adjust the steering stops. The front axle doesn't have adjustable stops on the knuckles. Is there a way to adjust the steering box?
Thanks

There is no bolts on the lower part of the knuckle on the inside?

Nope, it looks like I'm going to have to weld material on to the knuckle to build up the stops.

What about this:
- Drill a hole
- Weld a nut to the outside knuckle side of the hole.
- Take a nut with a bolt oh it, stick it in the whole and thread it into the other bolt, so youv got a bolt, the knuckl, then another bolt, then part of the nut sticking out.
- Adjust the bolt to the proper location, tighten down the second nut.
Isn't that pretty much how stock steering stops are setup? That was you can easely adjust them if you ever need to.

Heck, if there is a flange to drill a hole through, drill and tap the hole and it will be just like a stock setup.
