Over the past few weeks I have noticed liquid around the area where I (most) rest their left foot when driving, to the left of the clutch pedal. I didn't really pay much attention to it, but it always kinda seemed to be there.. This morning when I drove to school I had to push clutch all the way to the floor for it to engage, and it felt alot looser.

After school when I tried started it it died, I pulled it out of first and started it in neutral (with the clutch in) and it started fine, when I tried to shift into reverse I just grinded it. A little bit of liquid started to flow out too when I pushed the pedal down.

Is it possible to just fill up a resivoir every few weeks so this won't happen do you think? I don't have the truck at my house now so I can't take a look, but what do you think is wrong? thanks

well you have a leak, there for when there isnt enough fluid to depress the clutch fork it will grind because it is not disengaging. find teh leak fix it! jiMMy

The master cylinder for your clutch, not the breaks is leaking and needs to be fixed.

You need to rebuild your clutch master cylinder. Or, you might need a whole new master. Either way its not to expensive. Pull it off and see if the cylinder is ok, if it is, just buy a rebuild kit, comes w/all the seals and piston. Should be like $25.

I would put a new thermostat in it. Sounds like it is getting hot and the coolant overflow bottle is squirting coolant back to the left side of the firewall, and the coolant is seeping through. Also coolant must be getting on the clutch because you probably dont have a dust shield on the bellhousing.:D

Nope JiMMy. Mine leaked because somehow my OBA line running to the air tank sprung a leak and blew air into my slave cylinder. I think it blew in so much air that the pressure got so high it popped the seal on the Master. I better get BOOTIE FAB!:flipoff2:
