Just got ctm's.....
Got the needle fitting for the grease gun like i was told to use.
Problem is when i push grease into the fitting it comes back out the point of injection as fast as i put it in!
Is there another way to put grease in the damn thing? Im afraid its not getting in there, and if it is actually getting in there, is it normally this messy?

The CTMs don't hold alot of grease. I always turned the steering wheel alittle so the Ujoints had to work then greased them, rotated the tire a revolution or two greased it again and moved onto the next one for the first few times. I never had any issues, with mine and a little grease always came back out.

If the needle isn't perfectly centered over the ball and at a perfect 90 degrees, then it will leak as the tolerances on CTMs are tight. We used to have a small needle then found the larger one worked a little better. I find it's easier to have someone help if you want to keep things very clean...otherwise, just plan on wiping a little excess grease off and you're good to go! :dustin:
