I have a friend at work with a 64 fj40 whose looking to do a spring over, to him it seems to be the best way to get the lift desired to clear 35's. This gentlemen is a penny pinching fool, what is another option besides a spring over that is cheap and will retain a stock ride or better? yes, Alcans, coils, or coil overs would be nice too, but again, money is an issue. Any insight would be appreciated.

Dodge spring perched are the ticket $10 for 2 and stout. Do a search or go to IH8MUD.COM for info.
If you have fab skills, nothing is as cheap as a SOA.

So, my biggest question, is where to find spring perches? I checked at the dealership, but they are not offered. Again thanks for the help.
