: The poop on the con trip this weekend?
Curtis 09-09-2002, 08:36 PM Just wondering some things about the trip this weekend.
Who is going all the way through and who is just going in part way and back out through Loon? I could do either.
Where is everyone planning on camping? Abba and I will camp at Spider the first night (Friday) so we can play and watch other people in the box.
What times are we talking? Abba and I plan on leaving here at about 6am, which will put us at Loon around 10-11am.
Rock Tractor 09-09-2002, 09:27 PM I'm leaving at about 5:00, puts me in pollock pines about 6:45 or 7:00. Meet Jeff and George at the gas station and head up to loon. As far as where we are gonna camp, probably spider but I like buck much better. Camp at the springs saturday. Cliff will camp at loon thursday and maybe a couple others. We are gonna go all the way threw. Try to leave loon 9:00 or 9:30, Josh and Joe should be there about then. With about 8 trucks on the trail you guys should catch us quick. I'll make a couple of calls and see who I can confirm (folks who arn't on the board).

If that's the case, Joe and I will run with them to spider. I think they are then going to go camp at buck. (Am I right so far Mike?)
So Joe and I will wait for you guys at Spider (I should be broken by then anyhow :flipoff2: )
I'll camp anywhere. It depends how much fun and how much barly soda we drink if we stay at Spider or work our way to buck.
Either way we will head to buck on Sat morning. From there, I'm game for anything... Heading back through Loon or driving out through the rest of the trail.

jdjanda 09-09-2002, 10:51 PM Yup spider, with stops at the Soup Bowl and the box. I'm trying em both should be good for some laughs at my expense. Plan to go all the way through as well.

The rig is pack, alarm set for 3:30 AM :eek: I'm going to be tired and grumpy tomorrow.
Well see how long the POS, remaned box the PO bought. Looks like the lower bushing is shoot, sector shaft moves about an 1/8" when turning. Brought the manual box just in case.
