I am converting my 2wd ranger into a 4wd. I want to use a dana 44 up front and a 9inch in the rear but i found a good deal on a 14 bolt. Also the ranger has a C4 and I was told to use a dana 20 t-case but was wondering if i could use a NP 205 divorced T-case. Thanks in advance. Let me know if you need any other info.

Welcome to Pirate fawker :flipoff2:
I don't see why you couldn't use a divorced case. Since you are going with a 14 bolt you will need a HD Dana 44 (8 lug, to keep the same bolt pattern, 8x6.5), or better yet pony up and get a Dana 60.

Thanks
The dana 44 and the 14 bold are off the same truck and f-250 so they should be the same bolt pattern.

True, Ford didn't put 14 bolt axles under from the factory, but if you re read his post, he said he found a good deal on a 14 bolt.:shaking:
Put the 14 in, why not? They are stupid strong and Detroits are cheaper for them.
