Yep, took a chance, sight unseen! But asked a bunch of Qs!! Shipping will be non existent!! I figured if Butch could get lucky with his 60 find, then maybe I could with a 55 (probably not gonna get "lucky" at home though after the CinC finds out and makes me sleep on the couch!!:( )

I have a spare 4spd tranny/tcase and a spare SM420!! Hmmmm, so many options!! SOA?? :evil laugh:

Congrats!

Sounds like you will make a smooth tranisition form one project to the other... I sense a tow rig for the FJ40.(vortec, auto, 4" lift and nice creature comforts.-then you *might* be able to get away with it with the CINC)

Looking good, just needs a bit of paint work to get the white and red border in the right place.

Oh, it'll fit in an 11! I hauled a couple of Suburbans out to Asia on an 11 once! I think they belonged to company employees that were transferred to the Far East! I've taken race cars to Rio before too!!

Hehehe, I hear ya!! She'll give a ration of sh!t for a bit - she really hates Land Cruisers:D - but she'll come around!! I already had clearance to spend 4-5K on a replacement for my 92 Trooper!! If I can sell my Trooper for 2-2.5K, it'll almost be a freebie!!:D

Yikes! Actually, I'm thinking of removing the back seat so the pooches can spread themselves out!! I'll just put the seat in the dog kennels then!!:(

I am sorry I am selling it too.

I needed to get the "family" car thing going on.

So I bought a 1991 FJ80 and will be gearing it and making it an offroader for the "family" as soon as I turn over the 55 and the 60.

5.29s will make the 3F-E a little more happy with the 33s I would think hehe.

Only thing is FJ80 crap is expensive as all get out!

Yeah, I avoid it at almost any cost...
