Ive done the searches and I have seen the rants about Glenn from RROF. But what about his products I am considering his Deluxe YJ spoa conversion. Has anyone used it and how does it hold up. I know I should make my own however I don't have the equipment and or the expierence to make my own so that is not really an option. I know that TT has a good product but I want spacific info on the RROF kit. and maybe even some pics would be helpful.
Thanks

Brent = Trail Tough
Glenn = RRO
DO NOT CONFUSE THE TWO

I have the RRO deluxe spring pads on my 86. I'm really happy with them. They fit perfectly and the wrap around design insured that they went on straight in addition to the extra strength.
I went with the 4.5" pads and ended up with about 5" of lift since my YJ spring packs have 6 leafs.
If you need to rotate the pads, they will not work unless you cut one side down.

Ummm...
For the rear don't you ALWAYS need to rotate the pads??? Three degrees if i remember right to keep correct pinion angle.
As to the original poster, I'd also look at the Breeze stuff which is available in the U.S. through north coast off road ( www.northcoastoffroad.com ). The breeze pad doesn't wrap around like the RRO one, but it is slightly longer decreasing your chances of axle wrap.
RRO outfitters supplies you with rubber brake lines vs. braided lines. Braided lines are better for stopping power - period. Glenn says braided lines kink... never had that happen to me. The one good thing about RRO is everything I've seen them sell is "complete" (others may have had different experiences) no running around looking for a part that was missing from a kit like others.
Remember though... mail order is always slower than going to a local shop.

Not alway's, If it is a big lift then yes you do, but should use a CV shaft though.
If it's a normal SPOA then no you don't, you want to keep the pinion angle the same as the output shaft angle:flipoff2:

The yj portion of the kit is trail tough's, but the combo is less than trail toughs, they didn't make a secret of it. I thought that it was worth it to have RRO's pads, but that is my .02

i have RRO spring perches on my truck.....they do make it pretty easy to set up the spoa for the backyard mechanic.....but if you have a good pair of saw horses and an angle finde you can do just as well with a pair of standard perches.....if you really want the boxed perches that use the stock perches for alignment just get them from RRO.....i would get the rest from TT.....thier yj kit works awesome....for the money it's probably the best suspension to have under a zuk.....ask around....there's plenty of people on this site with the kit and i don't really think anyone is unhappy with it

Thanks for the suggestions. I will probably be buying one of the two here in a couple months and I just wanted some feedback while research the different products.
