i'm pretty new here at pirate4x4 and know im probably going to get torched but, i have a 14 bolt FF axle i picked up at a local junk yard. I put new bearings, races, seals in it and a disk break kit. and put under a 96 1500 suburban i made it about 100 miles or less on the axle and i guess the wheel bearings were tightened up to much but the wheel bearings went out and the axle broke and in the process split the spindle back to the brake backing plate is it possible to buy a new axle tube and get it installed cheaper than a new 14ff because the only ones i can find around here (Little Rock) are $700+ and i didnt pay but $250 for this one less than a year ago. Thanks and let the flaming begin:confused:
