I am just finishing up an install in my Jimmy. I put in a 203/205 with the 205 clocked up to match the height of my range box. The cases I got used and the 203 has the ORD PTO cover with fill plug. I just filled the range box up till it spit a little back out at me. Now with the 205 having no fill plug in the PTO cover, my fill and drain plug are almost at the same height. Am I going to get enough fluid in there or should I get a PTO cover with a fill plug? How much fluid should I be able to put in there?

So should I drill and tap one in the case? I can handle it if that is necessary, but would rather get the ORD cover or even add a "Drain/Fill" plug to my existing PTO cover. Thanks so far for the help.

no not in the case, the cover will do just fine.
i just scalped up one of the threaded copulers that comes on the end of a full length peice of pipe, it is steel instead of cast like the "fittings"

I welded a 1/2" nut to the inside of the stock PTO cover. In hindsight, I should have used a bigger nut. It takes for fucking ever to put 3 quarts of 90 wt through a ~1/4 hose

yeah, I was able to put in almost 2qts in my range box before it spitback at me. I will go buy the hardware to put a plug in the 205 PTO
