I'm not a ford man first off most of what i now are chevies but i need a new truck and what i'm looking at is a ford so i need some help.
i saw two truck at the dealer one is a f-150 and the other is a f-250.
i wouln't touch the 150 because when i pulled the dip stick it came up like molassase smelled like gas, and had little metal chunks on it.
the f-250 i didn't get a chance to look at it but i talked to the head guy at the used dealership and he asked if I saw the 250 and wether i was interested and that he could tell me what it needs to pass inspection and that he cooould make me a deal,
it a 250 4x4 with a 460 and a manual. I know it needs a core support(he said both trucks needs this, is it a ford problem) shocks, wheel wells, it failed emissions, and needs soomething for that,

what else would it need to get it running and what does it have would this truck have potential to be an offroader if its engine is in good shape I also would need it as a dadily driver.
