just look for the big cast-iron sleve in the center of the longside tube.......that'll be the disconect

My front Dana 60 is from a '93 Dodge. Im 99%sure '93 was the last year for a leaf sprung front Dodge Dana 60, then they started with coils. So I would say anything older than '93 should be fine.

Thanks guys, buying this from 9v on the board but he hasn't gottten back to me as of yet to tell me if it is or not. Just curious, why are they bad and do all dodge fulltime d60's have it?

If it has drive flanges and is a pass side drop, it will not have the central axle disconect, or what ever the fawk they call that sh!tty system. When they switched to the drivers side drop, and coils, they went to it. Those axles have ball joints instead of Kingpins, and I believe they do not have spindles. Instead they have that unit bearing system. Dynatrac sells a conversion kit to do away w/ the central disc. and bearing system, but I have no idea what it costs. Based on what I have heard replacement parts cost from Mopar, it is probably worth it, though.

I think they started when they switched to fuel injection. My '89 had a disconnect and a passenger side diff. The front end I have now is out of an '84 Ramcharger.
