I see lots of guys running this setup so i'm hoping someone has some insight. The 4.3 is supposed to be out of a 94 S10 (came out of a buggy whe i got it) and i guess it had an auto behind it factory. the problem is that the driver side manifold comes down right beside and about 3/4" away from the bellhousing where my slave cylinder needs to mount. Is there a different OE manifold for a standard equiped vehicle w/ a 4.3 that puts the downpipe in a different location? How do others get around this w/o having to purchace a pricey set of headers?

i would really appriciate any help, ideas or insight

Manifolds from an Astrovan 4.3 should work. PM Redder, he has been through this...or maybe he will chime in here. I have a 465 behind my 4.3, but I used a later model bellhousing. The slave cylinder mount is on the passenger side on these.
