Great job Glen & Curtis!!!
And what an awsome turnout, I couldnt believe how many people were there, following nearly non stop events in the Reno, Sacto area over the last month between the Cal Rocs and W.E.ROCK, events. I think its a sign of a growing fan base willing to make the drive and bring their families to these great spectator events.
We sure have to thank Tony K and his entire crew for putting together some very challenging courses, and manning up with very well informed and professional judges. The judging staff has really grown this season into a very good team, and I know the fans can see it as well as the drivers, that everything is on an even playing field.
The drivers this weekend were off the hook, so many bonus lines, were attempted and still the scores stayed very tight, it seemed like there was always plenty of places to try and make up points if a team was willing and needed to take the risk.
I really want to thank Axial and Jake Hallenbeck with his KCRC company and all of his partners and crew, for putting on a great RC event, and bringing all of that fan base to event also. Thanks, i hope we can do more of these events together.
I want to thank all of the volunteers, and the staff at Donner for making everything come together. I stayed at the Donner condo's right there at the bottom of the hill, and plan to do that anytime Im there for an event, very nice rooms and very convenient.

Thanks again to everyone I hope you all enjoyed the event i know i really enjoyed announcing, though my voice was gone on sunday, and I needed Kevin Carey to help fill in for me (Thanks Kevin).
I believe Kutulease wil be doing a complete write up in the next few days, along with photos, so we have that to look forward to.

Jeff, I heard rumors that there was a stock class and full body class somewhere down the hill, but from where i was you were all slightly smaller than the RC crawlers show that Axial was putting on. Actually I was working my way down the hill on Saturday just to pick on you and matbe a little bit on Welder boy, but at about 1000' below the sound equiptment I started losing signal from my mic. I tried announcing the lower courses of the unlimiteds but could get no lower than standing at A2 when my mic cut out,...so I hiked the mile or so up the hill and announced from the upper courses from then on out,...sorry man, you know I love to watch you run, just couldnt do it with the system we have. trust me though,...i sounded great,..just ask me!

Tony, Great job,... everyone loved those courses if they were a spectator,...nuff said!!!

I would like to see some scores too;)

And I agree about the courses, closer together would have been great, and the B's were a little easy....and the A's were killer:smokin:

I have all the scores in this computer we planned on getting them up yesterday but a fire coming up the canyon within 350 yards of our house kinda kept us busy. We will do our best to get them up this evening as I do not have the ability to get them up without crashing something. Thanks to all that made Donner such a great event.

Sorry Jeff.

I'll work at making all of them enjoyable and challenging at the next one.

No need to be sorry they were awesome for a 35" class just a little too much for what I wanted to do in a steetable, legal stock mod. Trying harder wouldn't have made us do better, just crash so I feel like we won by coming out relatively unscathed.
