See if you can get it for $500. The 700r4 will probably cost a good chunck to rebuild. Is the blue smoke judt @ start up? If so, it is probably valve guides. But w/203K, a full rebuild wouldn't hurt at some point. Cranked manifold is no big deal, but if you lay out all the defects and how much it will take to fix them, you should be able to get the price to where you need it. Also, a lot of it will depend on how much you can do yourself. Good Luck.

I can get it for 500 bucks but no less. I was trying for 400 but he said he'd take payments... damn.

I can do a little work but living in an apartment complex makes things rough. -no garage. All the little shit will be fun but I've never r/r'ed a tranny and I'm positive my luck will give me some broken bolts into the head trying to remove the ehaust mani.

The blue smoke is very little given the circumstances and it's just at start up -as near as I can tell. I'm going to drive it and see where I'm at on it too.

The alum slots w/ BFG at's will be different. The 3" body lift kinda sucks but it looked sturdy unlike some of the homemade POS I've seen.

If you get it, do you want to sell the slots?:D 700's can be a bitch to get right, from what I hear. There are a few people around here that are getting better at it. Might be better off taking it to a tranny shop or getting a reman.

Where in this boring state? Ever goto Solon for the 4xing? Or the Brickyard in Viola IL?

It's really a tough decision because we don't have the money to throw around on another project. Selling the slots could help though. Just incase I buy this pos, you'd have wheels for partial trade?

I'm in Grinnell. Not that far away. I'm sure I could come up with something as a partial to get you by. Haven't been to Solon yet. Went down to the Make It or Break It club grounds south of Knoxville in April. Too much other stuff going on since then. Will have to check out the area in IL sometime.

I've decided not to buy the truck. If you want the number email me. The guy wants to sell bad but I think his bottom dollar is 500.

Also, pm me if you want to hit Solon with us. 2 Range Rovers a Defender 90, Disco I, and a few assorted Jeeps for us to pull out!
