I have searched and with out a name for the place cannot find anything.
I used to live in the DFW area and spent a lot of time wheelin in a dessertes area just south of DFW airport. People have been going out there for years and some people have some pretty serious rigs that play out there.
It has now been a couple of years since I have been out there and am wondering if people are still wheelin there. The cops have been trying to stop people from entering the property off of hwy 360 on and off. I once got a ticket there helping a stuck vehical myself but that is another story.
I am thinking about making a trip back down there just for grinns but don't want to waste a trip if no one ventures out there anymore.
Would somebody let me know if it is worth the trip/??

Hay whats your name I used too wheel out there a few years back when I had my toyota. Last I heard there were still people there and the cops still fawkin with people. You are supposed to go in off the highway where the guardrail splits just as you pass the trails.

You are thinking of 360 or also know as the Trinity River Trails.

i went out there for the first time a couple of months ago and man was i suprised. there are rocks in the middle of dfw!!! anyway it was pretty cool. we did not have any trouble and i have heard that the cops are just looking out for vandals. i saw somewhere recently that there is alot of development that has ben going on out there and 360 will soon be no more. i don't know though. like i said i have only been there once.

Ya that's the place. I always went in off Trinity after I got that ticket. My name is Brad but out there I was know as Booger. I don't think they will ever be able to build on it or someone would've done it a long time ago-has to do with the flood plain I think.

it's definately clear again as long as you aren't drinking while you're wheeling the cops aren't going to bother you. Been up there the last couple of weekends with no problems. There are some pretty good trails up there too especially since it's only 40 minutes from the shop.

the main thing about 360 is this.....if your truck breaks down, DO NOT LEAVE IT.....never leave anything you want out there...even if it means sleepin in it....seen too many vehicles out there that are stripped. had a friends get stripped out there once too...expensive lesson to learn...

they are cutting that new road thru the north section. no big deal the trails are not that good over there. just act decent and the law will be cool. mike

the best enterance is off Roy Orr & Valley View
There are usually between 10 and 20 trucks, jeeps, and assorted buggys each weekend with the nice weather this weekend there is likely to be alot of people
we go out there every other weekend or so
(if you break DO NOT LEAVE YOUR VEHICLE UNATTENDED you will be sorry) if there is anything left it will be crispy (burned)
lots of people that go out there hang out on this forum
