I did search this, but all the results were later model, ball joint style D60s. So, will a kingpin style ('78-'79 right?) fit under my '97 F250 as easily as a later model 60? My TTB D50 is toast and I am not trying to polish a turd.
Thanks!

77/79 D60's have a narrower spring spacing and will be a lot of work for it to fit.
I would recommend an 85.5 - 97 D60 (kingpin or ball joint). It'll bolt right up.

Try untill '91.5, for the kingpin d60s.

So, just double checking, I should be looking for a D60 from '80 to '91.5 for kingpin that the perches will match up with?

Yeah, but I am 90 percent sure you won't find one in anything 80-85.

Ford did not offer a Dana 60 in 80-85.5 years.
You were stuck with TTB Dana 50's.

OK Jeep guy, now for the invaluable information you have received from the Ford guys you need to aquire an extra Dana 60 king pin and donate it to the Ford forum. We will raffle it off and use the procedes for beer or award it by lottery to one of the senior members. We don't do this shit for free.
