Read the article in 4wd and SU. Is anyone running them, the cruiser series that is? How do they really sound on and off the throttle?

I'm not that worried about the HP either, but I heard they are good for 12+HP on a small block, when used in conjuction with complete exhaust. Plus they are almost rock proof, and very smal, 2-1/4" thick.

They are also very loud. I have a friend with one on a Camaro. Not quite as loud as straight pipes but close.

I have one in my 327 Chevy powered FJ40, with the 2.5" single exhaust leaving the rear and it doesn't bother me much. The reason I got it...it was the only muffler in stock when I had the exhaust system bent. I am not unhappy with it and yes it could be quiter. I can not fit a fullsize muffler under the cruiser, I have to have a short narrow muffler so ....

Dan,

my buddy runs a 440 in his ramcharger and after hearing my spintech he is going to get one for his big block. His pro street roadrunner runs flowmaster's so he must like them better than the flows

I have 2 of 'em on my 1 ton dually. It doesn't have cats and they're too loud. They're OK around town, but with the camper on it and towing the Jeep it gets old after about an hour. With cats I could probably live with them.
