just thought I would follow the flock :bender: and post another favourite tool thread.

We have had drills and angle grinders, so I thought why not your favourite out of them all. Should give people a chance to post weird assed ones, heavy industrial, quirky, and my personal favourite category - the best multi use one.

have at it :D

I can put in a vote for the dremel.

I hate their website (http://www.dremel.com/html/home_fr.html)

Hehe, that would be my list, too. But I only have the welder so far:( Both others will be coming, but in a while.
Oh, and the Milwaukee Sawzall! I bring it everywhere, but now my friends won't let me take it out. Already got loose when we weren't looking and cut up my truck, and my buddy's truck, too. There's a couple of fresh 01 Tacos sitting around, but they they keep a watch for the saw:D

Several years ago when I was still in college, I was a wrench in a Mtn Bike shop. My favorite tool there was the Nipple-Wrench.

Now... prolly the BFH. Nothing else is as satisfying to wield.

The Impact wrench! It helps a lot when working with old cars.

I'd have to go with my MIG...built SO many parts on my jeep with it.
All though the sawzall comes in a close second...

I can't believe no one has mentioned the beer fridge yet. :flipoff2:

After that, I'd have to vote for the oxy-acetelyne torch. Flame wrench, gas axe, blue-tip wrench, portable inferno, whatever you want to call it, it does it all.

I cant believe you guys... What about the "cresent hammer"? AKA big fuckin adjustable wrench. On the fancy side, a lift is pretty handy

Another vote for a Dremel (Love it) and an angle grinder.... Maybe add a BFH in there too :D

another vote for BFH,

Although high on the list of "thought I wouldn't use it much" has to be the 20 ton press, I've used that for my jobs than I ever imagined, plus I can put drink friends to work smashing beer cans with it, it's amazing how long a drunk will sit there on that thing to turn a can into something the size of a quarter.

chad

ps grinders, welder, torchs, and others are also on the list, the the Big Freakin' Hammer almost always comes out first.

I have to say the 55 ton press I picked up for $110. Way more than I'll ever need, but couldn't pass it up for the price.

The BFH I keep between my ears and above my eyeballs, works on lots-o-stuff, including this asdfjkl;poiqhwert'bnasvSLakh [q423th computer, other than that, Smithy 3 in 1 Lathe Mill Drill, just wish it was mine.

Mine would be duct tape.
All the above would probably do as my favorite but I'll have to go with the old cordless drill.

For most jobs I prefer a 32oz "Wrench, General Purpose." Other times I need a little more so I have a complete set of these wrenches but this size is definately my favourite.
