Can i get away with using 4 johnny joints on my front four link and four bushings on the other end, as well as the same think in the rear. Or do i need to use 6 johnny joints.

I use jonnys on the the frame end, and boulder bushings on the axle end

I just looked and boulder bushings are the same price.

Yup... been running mine that way for years. It keeps the links from rotating.

What about just a regular bushing

I made my boulder bushings....took some 2 inch dom and used control arm bushings and sleeves from a 90's model dodge truck

I used some bushings on the axle side of my three link and some Jimmy Joints from Summit Machine on the frame side. It seems to work very well. The only think I don't care about is they're a little noisy or squeeky when wheeling. Other than that, they cushion the ride well and were less expensive than a joint.

Just FYI, I'm considering changing the bushings for hard joints just for the noise factor.
