Is there a good dual plane intake to mate a Q-jet to a 401? I searched w/ no luck. I'd like to avoid adapters if possible.

I'd like it to flow well, but high RPMs are not expected. Off-idle and mid range performance for real offroad use is the goal. I'm also looking at the new truck Holley & Edelbrok performer as another option. Input is welcome.

Good luck I kinda like my adaptor, kinda acts like a velocity stack ;)

i dont think you have any options, adapter and edelbrock performer manifold.

Maybe if you dig deep enough you'll find that offenhouser offered something in the 60's, but even at that you'll have to slot the holes for it to fit a "modern" amc v8

i used an adapter on mine but my best sugestion would be to shitcan the whole idea & put on a motorcraft 2-barrel if you must run a carb & use offroad. mine works awesome 98% of the time. yeah the power sux on the street but thr trade off i well worth it. sorry for ramblin on , just my .02
