: 6.5 diesel non computer???

are there a non computer controled GM 6.5 diesel out there or are they all computerized

YES.
I have/had one(2/3rds paid)
It was converted though. It was a 94 engine.
Don't know any usefull info like what they came in or what years

Most 6.5's (dont know about the ones being built today) had only electrically controlled injection pumps on them.
So switch out the injection pump for a mechanical one and you are good to go.
Pretty easy swap!!!

Yes it will, but you might have to "turn it up" a bit to get maximum power out of it!!!
